From the creators of Wither and Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich comes Myster Box, a horror short that you now can watch for free on Youtube.
Having made the rounds on various film festivals last year, Mystery Box was released for free viewing on April 10th by way of the production company, Stockholm Syndrome Film. The 10 minute short film is “horror in its true form”, according to their Facebook page. The plot: A young woman named Moa is surprised to find a strange box tangled in her fishing nets while on vacation at a cabin outside Stockholm. She takes the box back to the cabin, storing it in a shed until she can dispose of it properly. Later that night, however, she hears a sound outside and opens the door to find the mysterious box waiting for her.
The film is directed by Swedish indie horror stalwart Sonny Laguna (Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich, Wither, We Are Monsters) from a script by producers David Liljeblad (Wither, Blood Runs Cold) and Tommy Wiklund (Madness, Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich). The film stars Lisa Henni (The Unthinkable, Fallet, Easy Money 2).
